For example, churches can permanently place a giving kiosk in an entryway or next to an announcement board that encourages congregants and visitors to give. Simply create a Donorbox Live™ campaign, download the Donorbox Live™ app to an iPad or Android tablet, pair it with a Stripe M2 or WisePad3 card reader (depending on your location), and you’re ready to accept in-person donations.

Donors simply select a suggested donation amount (or type in their own) and use their credit or debit card, smartphone, or smartwatch to complete their gift. They may also type in their name and email should they choose to receive a receipt. You can also choose to set a minimum or maximum donation amount for donors who may feel extra generous.

To use Live Kiosk, you’ll need:

• A Donorbox account – these range from our costless Standard plan to our affordable Pro and Premium plans. See all pricing here.
• When a donation is made, you’ll be charged a small processing fee depending on your chosen payment processor: Stripe fees are 2.7% + $0.05 and PayPal fees are 1.75%.
• Hardware – like tablets, stands, and card readers – is sold separately and can be ordered through Donorbox. You also have the freedom to use your own devices.

The Donorbox Live™ subscription cost depends on your Donorbox plan. If you have a Standard or Pro plan, you can expect to pay $80/monthly or $820/annually (save $140 per year with annual!) for your first device, and $15/monthly for every additional device. If you have a Donorbox Premium plan, you’ll pay $50/monthly for your first device and $15/monthly for every additional device.
